Sculpture 

An independent and incipient small body of work composed of three palm sized glass sculptures. The series is made using a glass casting technique (as well as diamond edge polishing) in an endeavour to explore this new material, and test its aesthetic limits, of form, colour and translucency. The work is inspired by the mundane intertwined with the surreal. The media offers the work a sensorial feature - smooth to the touch and heavy to hold that contrasts with its soft and light appearance.
